BIT's 9th Annual World DNA and Genome Day (WDD-2018)
BIT's 9th Annual World DNA and Genome Day (WDD-2018) with the theme “Accelerating Great Cooperation in Bioworld of Belt and Road ” successfully held in Dalian, China during April 25-27, 2017. Almost 1000 participants from over 32 countries and regions shared the details of their research during the sessions. It was sure to announce it gained a great success.
As keynote speakers of this grand event, Dr. Edvard Ingjald Moser, Professor, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway; Nobel Prize Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, 2014; Dr. Aaron Ciechanover, Distinguished Research Professor, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel ; Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry, 2004; Dr. Michael Levitt, Professor, Stanford University, USA; Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry, 2013; Dr. Bennard van Ravenzwaay, Professor, BASF SE, Germany; Dr. Ilan Chet, Professor, Faculty of Agriculture, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel gave their splendid addresses which were warmly received by the audiences at Keynote Forum. Totally, 420 oral presentations in 60 parallel sections and 70 poster presentations altogether. Among the fruitful presentations, it was a scientific festival filled with great opportunities to get access to the advancing development of WDD-2018, in some ways, has promoted the communication of fellow colleagues and collaboration of partners involved in this field.

BIT's 7th World DNA and Genome Day (WDD-2016) with the theme “New Biotech Toward 2025”, was successfully held in Dalian International Conference Center, China during April 25-27, 2016. Nearly1000 renowned speakers from 36 countries attended this conference.
As the keynote speakers, Dr. Arieh Warshel, Distinguished Professor, University of Southern California, USA, Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry, 2013; Dr. Zu-Hang Sheng, Senior Principal Investigator, National Institutes of Health, USA; Dr. Kenneth K. Wu, President & Distinguished Investigator, National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan; Dr. Caifu Chen, Senior Vice President of R & D, Integrated DNA Technologies, USA; Dr. Zhongyi Cheng, CEO, PTM BioLabs, China; Dr. Philipp Kapranov, Professor, Director, Huaqiao University, China gave their wonderful speeches at keynote forum and are warmly received.
There were 10+ scientific sessions following the Opening Ceremony covering topics in fields including: Nucleic Acid, Genomic Instability and DNA Repair, Epigenetics, RNA Biology, Evolutionary and Conservative Genomics,Ecogenomics, Bioinformatics, Next-Generation Sequencing, Cancer Genetics, Neurogenetics, Gene Detection and Molecular Diagnostic Technologies, Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine, Plant and Crop Genetics.

BIT's 6th World DNA and Genome Day (WDD-2015) with the theme “World’s Dream of Bio-Knowledge Economy” that was held in Nanjing, China during April 25-27, 2015 has gained great success. Two Nobel Laureates and 1500+ Renowned Speakers from 39 countries attended this conference.
Two Nobel Laureates have made the wonderful presentations at the opening ceremony including: Dr. Bruce A. Beutler,Director, Center for the Genetics of Host Defense, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, USA. and Dr. Tim Hunt, Emeritus Group Leader, Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Clare Hall Laboratories, Cancer Research, UK.
There were 35 scientific sessions following the Opening Ceremony covering topics in fields including: Genomics, Epigenetics, RNA Biology, Bioinformatics, Next-Generation Sequencing, Cancer Genetics, Neurogenetics, Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine, Plant and Crop Genetics.
In addition to the highly specialized branch and forum, exhibitors’ booths at the scene of the conference were also a major highlight of the event. The enterprises provided scientists with advanced instruments, which also have been making great contribution to the scientific research achievements. They work together with the scientists to revealing the secrets of DNA-based research, biomedical studies and human genomics.

BIT's 4th World DNA and Genome Day (WDD-2013) with the theme “Grand celebrations of 60th th anniversary of DNA double-helix structure discovery” that was held in Nanjing, China during April 25-27, 2013 has gained great success. Five Nobel Laureates and a lot of Renowned Speakers from many countries attended this conference. We express our great gratitude for all the participants in conveying their latest research results at our conference.
