2011.4.25, the 58th Anniversary of the publication of DNA Double Helix Structure on Nature, Dalian hosted the 2nd World DNA and Genome Day on this day. 9 Nobel Laureates and 2500+ participants from 50 countries and areas attend the conference. The officials of Dalian Government and the Directors of Hosting Organizations delivered the welcome speech at the opening ceremony. The conference came to a successful conclusion finally. BIT’S 2nd World DNA and Genome Day, was held in Dalian EXPO Center, Dalian, China in April 25-30, 2011 successfully. The theme of the conference was Reopen Bio-Gateway in Green Economy Era. 2000+ participants experienced 4 days scientific program of the conference.

At the opening ceremony, after the addresses of the Dalian government and the organizing committee, 9 Nobel Laureates gave reports on their works.
